2009 Reflection / 2010 Goals
It’s the last day of the year.. so what did I accomplish in 2009 / what did I learn?
Accomplishments:
- Still being self-employed, that I very much like!
- Finally finished the update to eBay Stealth! The best version yet. : )
- Bought a house, and got rid of a couple vehicles, plus bought another vehicle
- Made some good money in the stock market
- Wrote another eBook (autoblogbook)
- Started two more personal blogs
- Restructured my life goals, and business doesn’t top the list anymore. : )
What I learned:
- How to BBQ!
- That the best teacher is experience
- Starbucks drinks have a ton of calories (except tea, I love tea!)
- Plus a lot of other crap I forget : )
In 2010 I want to…
- Start a new e commerce website
- Heavily get back into Affiliate Marketing
- Get rid of a couple cars.. : ) I can only drive one car at a time.. I don’t know why I have 4 cars in my name .. :p
- Be a little more transparent online .. or go the other way and turn into a ninja, either or
- Get the Mustang running again
Obviously I haven’t really thought about what I’m going to do in 2010. I usually don’t think of New Years as a new beginning. To me every day is the same. Only recently weekends became fun again. It’s the day most of my friends and family aren’t working.
Ah, ending on a sad note. : )
The weekdays are when I get work done (huge to-do list); the weekends are usually when I take it easy.
It’s been a great year overall and I just hope it continues. Though one thing I learned a long time ago is that all good things must come to an end. One day there will be a change and the party will end. I learned that diversification is number one, and that relying on just one income stream is a good way to lose it all. Part of being a good internet marketer is to accept that all good things come to an end, and to be prepared for something new. At a minimum one should have 5 streams of online income to survive long term online. This can be compared to multiple eBay accounts for you eBay Suspension members. : )
Welcome to 2010 people!
It’s Christmas and I’m Blogging!
Merry Christmas everyone and Happy New Year!
Can you guys believe aspkin.com is about six years old! I remember starting the blog as a side project, mostly for working on my HTML skills. I never intended it to be a forum and providing a service to suspended eBay members. It just sort of happened.
I’m glad though that things have worked out the way they did. And wow I’ve come a long way from basic HTML and crappy design to something a little more professional. I’ve learned so much over the years. Internet marketing is really a passion for me and I’m glad I do it.
Well, as I said it’s Christmas and I’m blogging! Hopefully I get to the point where I have actual things to talk about. For some reason it’s just hard for this blog now. I’m sure I’ll get there though.
Merry Christmas everyone!
aspkin
P.S. WOW! I just read the screenshot above of aspkin.com in 2003.. and I sound like a totally different person. A lot has changed in such a short amount of time. You guys are lucky I actually care about punctuation these days.
Early Christmas Present – Sony VIAO
An early Christmas present to myself! Yes, I deserve it.
I mostly got it to use downstairs because I’m tired of running up and down stairs all day long. This way I can camp out downstairs for a few hours, do whatever and still have access to a computer, then go back up to the big computer whenever I need real work done. I also got it to travel easier, my monster 17inch VAIO isn’t people friendly, and eats batteries like crazy. I’m at Starbucks with the VAIO now. I like it.
Nice sleek looking VAIO. I was considering a Mac Book Air, but I have too much invested in PC software that it’s hard to switch over now. I find Windows 7 to be pretty nice as well.
Laptop with the Aspkin.com blog.
My office – I have a 22 inch Samsung monitor with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Everything is connected to my old 17inch VAIO that is in a drawer somewhere.
My early Christmas present!
I Tremble With Fear… DMCA Notice

My Response:
A couple things
Modee (DAVE THOMAS) is not the co-founder of my forum; it was created solely by me.
No license is given to any member over posted material in the forum. All posted content belongs to the forum.
No member, banned or otherwise reserves right to content posted in our forums. Once someone creates a post in our forum, it is the property of the forum.
All members who join the forum agree to terms in conditions which clearly states the owner of the forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
I out right deny any request to remove posted material by this member, as he has caused nothing but trouble in and out of our forums.
Again any Posted material in our forums belongs to the forum and I reserve the right over said content.

I’m sure this will continue on as Mr. Dave Thomas has nothing better to do with his time, and that’s fine with me. If in the end I have to delete his posts, then so be it. I rather the posts he made not be in the forum in the first place, but then again I won’t give in to his underhand tactics anymore.
I gave the guy too many chances to change his attitude, but that was too much for him, now we continue to see the true Modee.
I’ll continue posting the status of the dispute as it unfolds.
*Update
After some back and forth discussions I decided it wasn’t worth my time to continue arguing over posts of a banned member. I have websites to build and businessess to grow and I can’t waste time with this guy anymore.
Okay, I Can’t Hold My Excitement Any Longer!
Hehe, either it’s the second shot of Monster energy in me, or I’m just excited about my next eBook I’m working on! Not only do I love doing eBooks now, even though I hate writing, but I love the fact that when writing an eBook I learn so much more about the subject it makes it all worth it.
So I just finished the first version of Webmaster Blueprint, an eBook about learning how to start on online business with your own website and how to market it.
I need to come up with a new tag line..
Webmaster Blueprint! The best damn internet marketing eBook out there, a Beginners guide to starting an online business and Marketing it for EXPLODING SALES! YEAH!!!!!! Bi*CH!!
Haha.. Monster Energy is Awesome!
Ah, I forget what’s my new eBook about? The secret I didn’t want to talk about in one of my lastest post?
It’s for the lazy Black Hat Marketer! I find at times I’m a pretty lazy person, other times when I have monster in me I’m apparently not so lazy. Okay enough delay, my new eBook which is still in the research stage will be on Auto Blogging!
What is Auto Blogging?
It’s the process of setting up dozens, even hundreds of Blogs that run on autopilot!
If your auto blogs are setup correctly you can easily make hundreds even thousands of dollars a day with them. But it’s not an easy process! I want to stress this, it’s not all fun and games and not for a quick buck until you master auto blogs!
I’ve been auto blogging for a couple years now, and the blogs I have, some are doing very well and others are on life support with me reaching for the cord.
Auto blogging can be fun because you can watch and nurture your auto blogs into a money making machine that can drive tons of traffic to anything you want really.
If you have a business you want to promote, setup a dozen or so auto blogs and point your blogs to your business website. I used to do that when I sold virtual currencies for online games and it worked very well.
If you’re an affiliate marketer, add your affiliate offers all over your blog for sales.
Currently I like to presale a product with landing pages, also I have banners setup to promote affiliate offers and I collect emails to promote more products later on! It’s awesome and it generates me hundreds of dollars a day on autopilot.
I do a lot of things to make money online, and I found auto blogging and selling my own product seem to be the best bet for making solid long term income online.
I’ve been making money with auto blogs for literally years now… and that’s the way I like it.
I’ll keep you guys updated on the status of the Auto Blogging guide.
It shouldn’t be a long process like Webmaster Blueprint, hopefully it will be done in a month or two! Most likely two months. *crosses fingers*
My monster drink is making me crash so I must nap now.
Cheers!
Getting Started Again – Pandora Radio
What can I write about? Hmmm…
Maybe if I just start typing away, I’ll come up with something.
Yeah, that’s what I’ll do.
Hmmm, what to type about.. well I’m listening to Pandora Radio at the moment, I’m not sure how that helps me write about something but I’ll run with it.
Pandora Radio! Ooo. I have a topic now..
Wow.. Random typing might just work..

OKay so Pandora Radio is a website where you can listen to free internet radio!
It’s pretty nifty; you just sign up for an account and input what you want to hear.
For example I’m listening to the Red Hot Chili Pepper Station at the moment. So what Pandora Radio does is create a station for me based on the Red Hot Chili Pepper music and similar artiest. To better explain it read this.
With Pandora you can explore this vast trove of music to your heart’s content. Just drop the name of one of your favorite songs or artists into Pandora and let the Genome Project go. It will quickly scan its entire world of analyzed music, almost a century of popular recordings – new and old, well known and completely obscure – to find songs with interesting musical similarities to your choice. Then sit back and enjoy as it creates a listening experience full of current and soon-to-be favorite songs for you.
You can create as many “stations” as you want. And you can even refine them. If it’s not quite right you can tell it so and it will get better for you.
It’s free but has ad banners to support it, and I just noticed videos play every once in awhile, but other then that it’s excellent. You also have the option to subscribe with no advertisements and longer time-outs, but I haven’t noticed their ads or hour long time-outs to get in the way of playing music. You can even listen to Pandora radio with an iPhone, which I do in my car or at the gym.

Yah! A decent post! Random writing works!
Visit Pandora Radio and start listening to the music you love!
Until my next random post!
