Aspkin’s Blog Update
Well, even though I try I cannot seem to post as often as I wish.
Sometimes I work on a post and then never publish it because it’s still in a draft form. I have about a dozen draft post I haven’t completed yet.. bah!
Oh well, I’ll get to them eventually I guess.
By the way over the weekend I did a little update with the blog. It’s the same design but I added a few things here and there that I’m working with my other blogs.

Getting Started Again – Pandora Radio
What can I write about? Hmmm…
Maybe if I just start typing away, I’ll come up with something.
Yeah, that’s what I’ll do.
Hmmm, what to type about.. well I’m listening to Pandora Radio at the moment, I’m not sure how that helps me write about something but I’ll run with it.

OKay so Pandora Radio is a website where you can listen to free internet radio!
It’s pretty nifty; you just sign up for an account and input what you want to hear.
For example I’m listening to the Red Hot Chili Pepper Station at the moment. So what Pandora Radio does is create a station for me based on the Red Hot Chili Pepper music and similar artiest. To better explain it read this.
With Pandora you can explore this vast trove of music to your heart’s content. Just drop the name of one of your favorite songs or artists into Pandora and let the Genome Project go. It will quickly scan its entire world of analyzed music, almost a century of popular recordings – new and old, well known and completely obscure – to find songs with interesting musical similarities to your choice. Then sit back and enjoy as it creates a listening experience full of current and soon-to-be favorite songs for you.
You can create as many “stations” as you want. And you can even refine them. If it’s not quite right you can tell it so and it will get better for you.
It’s free but has ad banners to support it, and I just noticed videos play every once in awhile, but other then that it’s excellent. You also have the option to subscribe with no advertisements and longer time-outs, but I haven’t noticed their ads or hour long time-outs to get in the way of playing music. You can even listen to Pandora radio with an iPhone, which I do in my car or at the gym.

Interesting things I learned the past couple days:
- Amos Lee is a great singer-song writer.
- Birds of a Feather really do flock together.
- A simple gift can sometimes be the best gift.
- I suck at Bowling but own at Call of Duty 4!
- Pandora is better then Sirius especially with my iPhone.
- The new Monopoly Electronic Banking Edition is pretty fun!
- A bottle rocket shot with a can on it amplifies it’s power somehow, raining down death and destruction when it explodes!
- Guns are fun!
- Having a truck means you get to move stuff for people ALL THE TIME!
A few things I learned in 2008!
- Vegas is only fun for about a week or two!
- Affiliate marketing is Not that easy.
- Selling your Own product is easier and more profitable then selling someone else’s.
- Diversification is very very important.
- The iPhone 3G is the best gadget I have ever owned.
- Cars are not investments!
- It’s better to think in this order: Friends, then Cash, then material objects.
- The stock market is a Bitch!
- California is pretty awesome.
- Chicken is not meant to be eaten everyday.
