I just determined something!
I was adding a bank account to my FNBO online, and they give you the choice of entering your online username and PW, or doing the deposit verification ordeal - same as PayPal.
I opted for the online verification - and after a minute or so, the system came back and stated that they could not verify my name on the account using the online system. Yup. That's because - the account I want to add is a corporate account and the bank account holder name is obviously not the same as the name under which I have the FNBO account.
See what I am getting at? I assume PP has the same system, so if you opt for their "online verification system" they might be verifying not just that you have the username and login info, but also the ACCOUNT HOLDER'S NAME. Beware. |
