Quite right. There is no reason to fudge the buyer's name. Giftcard companies are pretty picky about what credit cards they will accept anyway, so you may find that you have to use a real one registered to your real billing address. By real I mean not a debit one. So why new your name when you must supply your real identifying info?

If you are using the gift cards for something REALLY nefarious, then go on down to the mall and buy them for cash while wearing a new mustache, a hat and sunglasses...I suppose.
