I think that you need a proof of the item being counterfeit from the brand itself, then you can take this to your local police station and have the item destroyed, which they inturn will give you a letter which you can forward to ebay/paypal to show it was counterfeit and it has been destroyed.
I think that this is supposed to be the procedure!
