Sometimes I have noticed that when trying to use my Paypal Debit card--it doesn't authorize,
Lets say you know- you have $100 in there--you try to withdraw $80--it declines..
NEXT STEPS:
1.) Do a Balance Inquiry--if it declines this--then move to step # 2
2.) Now- They have a little known phone number-which belongs to an outside firm they use--which basically monitors card use--so if you are out of town, or your "pattern" of useage changes, it raises a Red Flag---
3.) Next Step-- Call this number: (this is all assuming you are not near a PC and on the road)--
Call: 1-800-830-8574...
** The Recording will ask if this is the number you recd the Verificaton call on? Obviously--no. (or you would know whats wrong)--
--So, enter the number pp has on file, now enter your atm debit card number, if u have 2--try BOTH--as my Secondary cardholder was the Problem at times..
4.) IF this is the problem, the recording will say--thank you--please verify these 5 transactions, some maybe balance inquiries,, press "1" if you recognize this charge,
5.) Once you get through all 5 transactions, they will say-thank you
6.) Immediately--your card is now GOOD to go!!
NOW... If you try BOTh cards + the recording says --we didnt call you--Then, its not the card, but a pp limitation--
