for a while I was selling a certain clothing brand from the US which costs 3 times more here in the UK. I would get a flight over, fill a couple of suitcases up, come back to the UK and sell it on.
then after a while this brand's UK office had me vero-ed off and sent me a cease and desist letter stating that I was 'illegally distributing the brand in the UK market without authority'
but I agree, vero is a way to control people who are happy to sell at reduced margins, or go the extra yard to get a deal |
