First of all, you have to understand why PP limits an account - it is primarily to gather information so that they are assured that the owner is legitimate and verifiable at a certain address.
There is only so much information PP can request - and my oldest account, that I created in 2000, has NEVER been limited. Neither has one of my other accounts. The other four were limited, once, but reinstated with full privileges fairly quickly.
Once you have given PP your social, the EIN of your corporation, and stuff like copy driver's license or utility bill, sometimes they ask for your incorporation docs, there is nothing more they can or will ask of you. If you can think of anything else they might want, or asked of your friends, you let me know.
PP asks for tracking #s of shipments, but only on very new accounts.
Assuming the hearsay that EBAY employee is repeating is true, those people probably just coughed up a few things the first time. Then the rest later. At some point there is just nothing more PP wants or could possibly ask for. |
