boon, im pretty certain. 90% to be exact. That paypal now have a database which matches address's to tel numbers.
To be honest it would make sense if they did. They probably bought the db off BT as a new phonebook is out quite regular.
Apprently aswell they have all (Read somewhere) ex directory names, numbers etc. Not sure if thats allowed but yeah.
p.s As i work for a telecommunications company i did hear that BT were selling databases illegally. theregister.co.uk had a big thing on this. BT were fined massive ammounts. That's why you get bogus calls selling windows. |
