I am from Canada too by the way. They wont ask us for our SSN number thats for sure, not here.
Question 1: Was it the first time you try with a cardx gift card (the one that work properly ) ? The other cards you try, they were the cardx ones that failed ? It seems that only certain gift cards will work, not all kinds.
Question 2: the reason you got limited, what was the message you received ? I had a friend who got back on no problem. But not with the high-risk message. What was the reason for your limitation ? I have to create a band new PP account since my last ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one got canned.
Tip: Also like Modee has stated NEVER link your ebay and PP accounts together.
But now your last card attempt was sucessful correct ? The invalid phone code you mentioned, that was for previous card attempt ? Usually if you enter a wrong code, they will mail you a letter which is not good if you have a gift card, since your mailing address obviously (usually) does not match the card's address.
But again.. what was the original message for limitation ?
