Yeah I was just reading that myself, the virtual phone section seems to be the same.
So if I get this straight, you mentioned PP told you that you added an invalid number (the 4 digits), and yet when you proceeded to the next page it says CONGRATULATION YOU SUCESSFULLY CONFIRMED.. so one page it tells you it fails, but the next it says that you succeded ?? If that's the case, that is a bit strange yes..
I noticed something though.. Always harder to get your account unsuspended after you had limitations.. the best is to verify and confirm first so you don't raise any suspicions from the start, you may have to create a brand new account again with the right cards.
PS: I am editing all my post to remove the card names we mentioned, may be nothing but like Modee says, PP spies are reading thse boards, so you don't want to give them tools towork against us. You may want to edit your post as well to remove any card names you mentioned.
