The problem is that nothing stays the same these days any more. Just last year I would have been able to register an account without a credit card (if my email was not from "hotmail" and their likes), now I need a card for everything.
Nothing prevents eBay from "entering an agreement" with auctiva, whereby they exchange some information. If it does happen in the future, we may not discover it except through a horror-story.
In the past few months, ebay's aggressiveness in witch-hunting has skyrocketed.
It's as if there was a new manager in charge of T&S and he was out to prove himself.
Any such manager worth his mettle would also monitor a forum such as this one, right?....
I mean, it only took me 10 seconds of Google-ing to find this forum, and I take it they must be smarter than me...
