Default Paypal Withdrawal Limits..

Paypal has a withdrawal limit of $500 unless you confirm 3 things:

Social Security #
Bank Info
Credit/Debit Card #

Now I've read eBay Stealth extensively and it doesn't say anywhere about SS# other than how paypal and ebay do share some informations. I would like to know if it is safe to give PP my real social even though I've given it to them in the past with an old PP account. Also, I am under a(⊗⊗⊗⊗) alias so if they do check up on it, I'll probably be found out. How do I bypass the withdrawal limits(if I even can)? Thank you for both the ebook and the forum, it has helped a lot and also thank you in advance for future help.

If your SSN has been used previously, it cannot be used again.

In order to lift your Paypal withdraw limits Paypal requires 2 out of 3 things:
Social Security #
Bank Info
Credit/Debit Card #

If you do any 2 of the 3 things above your limits are lifted.

for me they're asking ss# tracking number to a shipment and bank account. I'm waiting for them to deposit the PIN in my bank account and I'm waiting to ship the item so I can have a tracking #. Does this still apply to the 2/3 rule even though the requirements are different?

I can tell by your reply then you DID NOT set up your paypal properly.
Nor did you use it properly.
So all bets are off..... Sorry.

Read the Stealth Guild and learn how to set up and use your Paypal account properly

I have a personal account that I need to raise the limit on. It is verified, with a bank, and credit card attached to it now. I have checked my statement, and received the 4 digit expuse number. However, I cannot find where on paypals site or in my profile i should enter that number. When i go to view my credit cards in the profile, next to the address of the card, my only options are "edit/remove". Where should I be looking to enter the expuse number in this case? Thanks.

"you DID NOT set up your paypal properly."

How does anything i said imply i havent set it up properly. This has nothing to do with setting it up properly as they're only asking for a tracking number. I always supply them with tracking numbers but in the most recent case i havent shipped it yet so obviously i dont have a tracking number. Other than that i'm just waiting for them to deposit the PIN which also is standard procedure, and nothing to do with me setting anything up.

If I'm not mistaken, I think you click on the lift limit section ?? It's been awhile since I did it..

"Properly" I think means the following:

You created the account, verified it and lifted all the limits prior to using it to sell on ebay..

By them asking for the additional info, it appears your account wasn't verified prior to you selling..Thus, was not created properly...

Now, I'm not 100% sure on this, and the experts could possibly explain it better.. However, the best course of action from what I've been told is to create your paypal account first (before your ebay account), verify it with the bank account, lift your limits with the cc/debit card, and then proceed to sign up to ebay and use the two accordingly..

Just from the sounds of it, it would appear at some point you started selling prior to verifying the account, or that the account wasn't verified at all...

I could be incorrect, but that's how I'm reading into it..

See I told you that you did not set it up properly.
If you do it wrong do not blame the person that tells you that you did it wrong.

I didn't blame you, dont speak like a child. First of all nothing i said hinted at anything about setting up paypal so where you got the idea that i didnt do any of those things mentioned by trixx831 is completely beyond me. I did in fact verify it before any use of ebay. My limitation wasn't even related to ebay so shows how much you're basing your assumptions on. My limitation was in relation to me sending a friend of mine 200$. Personal transfer, nothing bought, nothing to do with ebay, especially nothing to do with money coming in. But whatever I'm wasting my time arguing with people like this, user: 'ebay' has already solved my question thanks to him.

I am ONLY going by the information that you yourself posted in this thread.
If you do NOT post the correct information then you will receive weird and conflicting information as a result.

I have the exact same problem. I just set up a Paypal account, had the bank account verified.

I clicked on "Add a Credit card" which i did. However, in my CC statement, all it says under transaction description is: "PAYPAL xxxxxxxxxx US Purchase - Membership Organizations". The code is a 10 digit number.

My PPal credit card account is automatically confirmed without me entering any code or anything.

And I can't find withdrawal limit anywhere in my Paypal from which I need to enter the Code?

Am I doing something wrong here?

Yes you did.
Placing a credit card on your paypal account as you did has NOTHING to do with lifting your withdraw limits.
I am sure the charge that was on your credit card statement was for $1 and the 10 digit number was a phone number.

Look at you home page of your paypal account.
See the little box that shows you balance?
If you have not lifted your withdraw limits that there will be a link there.
Then on the next page pick withdraw limits
It will take you to a page that tells you how to lift your limits.

In order to lift your Paypal withdraw limits Paypal requires 2 out of 3 things:
Social Security #
Bank Info# >Then come back to this exact page and enter the 2 small deposits
Credit/Debit Card # >Then come back to this exact page and enter the 4 digit EXPUS code from your credit card statement.

If you do any 2 of the 3 things above your limits are lifted.

This is BASIC stuff.
READ THE PAYPAL INFORMATION GIVEN TO YOU BY PAYPAL.

You are right. It was a $1 charge and has nothing to do with lifting limit.

I just clicked on "view limit" and linked my same Credit card. Will wait to see the 4 digit code and confirm it to have the limit lifted. Thank you.

Say you have 5000 USD @ Paypal and the limit is @ 500 USD.

Can you withdraw 400 USD each week or will that trigger their alarms???

The $500 is a MONTHLY limit not a weekly limit.

No worries trixx my comments weren't made towards you as you did nothing wrong.

I think people misunderstood me before. It's not my withdrawal limits that have been limited. It's my account that has been limited from use.

^^^^^^^^
This thread has nothing to do with the 21 Day Payment Hold.

Withdraw Limits and The 21 Day Payment Hold are 2 completely different and separate things.
