Registering a seller account at Amazon

Hi, everybody!

I have a question about registering a seller account at Amazon.

While registering, the system requires to enter the credit card info. As my credit card is already in the system, I tried to change the last card's digit only, and the card was added without any problems! As far as I understand, at the registration stage Amazon doesn't check the card.

That's why I have some questions:

1. When (What moment) will Amazon complete checking the card?
2. if I added not existing card at the stage of registration, can I add the wright card before I start selling? And how will Amazon react on that?
3. (Not regarding the card, but regarding selling at Amazon) Should I enter Tax Identity Information? If I am wright, Amazon has to be more loyal to the seller as the person gave his SSN.

You need to follow there rules to get paid.

Amazon isn't going to tell you WHEN they will check.....Also, next time you have a genius idea...Run it by the forum and see what the consensus is on your plan.

They can check when you sign up, when you make a sale, when you try to deposit, when a client complains, when you respond to an e-mail...many MANY check points (Examples)

I've read all the Amazon manual and I have one following question left. If I register a new seller account then the highest risk to face the review is within 30 days OR If I exceed the sales limit over $750 within 28 days.
And the question itself. If I delay my account for a month after registration, and after this month I won't exceed my $750 sales limit, then there won't be any review of my account from Amazon, am I right?

There is no rules for that, all is random. I got my last account reviewed at just 150$ received , but another one which is 3 month old, already 4 payments 1000+ $ and yet no review or money rolling reserve. So each account can be reviewed anytime , it is just luck or chance to avoid it.

Even if you delay, not 100% possible to avoid review - ppl have undergone review even at $200 or less fyi
