Hi I run my amazon account on a virtual machine using virtual box with ubuntu. I use IPvanish as VPN. Whenever I log in to sellercentral it says that I have never logged in from that computer and that I have to answer a security question (in my case it asks for my phone number). Every single time I log in. I am afraid to rise suspicion with Amazon. Any ideas?
Cheers

Its cookies which establish your previous visits to the site, I have a suspicion your browser is deleting them. Or otherwise the virtualbox may be in some form of snapshot mode, reverting back to original state each time you fire it up.
I personally use VMware, and thats worked a treat so far.
Yeah, I checked and cookies are enabled. I log out and log in again and it happens. Is it possible that virtualbox deletes the cookies when a session is ended? But even that makes no sense because even if I don't close the browser it will happen. And cookies are enabled.

Its probably virtual box setting that does not save history/settings.
vmware doesn't work on my Linux machine unfortunately :( or I am not smart enough to get it running. So I am stuck with Virtualbox. anybody else using virtualbox?
I had the same thing when logging in from linux, on windows machines no bot verification, when running from linux vm always get a confirm your phone or enter a captcha..
