Anyone ever had this? We went into a seller account to access it and it says that we are not an authorized merchant then gives another link if we want to access seller central with a different login credentials. It was never blocked its just not been used probably over a year.

Sounds like they blocked your account. This happens from time to time. Means they found a link to another account

Don't think so....I looked on the amazon forums and they reactivated when people complained. I think its an auto thing from being inactive from so long. If it was blocked, it would send an email saying it was blocked to us? Plus, we have no other account that they could have linked to it, unless they confused us somehow with someone else.

Unfortunately, that account can't touch with the new ID requirements. Don't have the documents if they ask so i have to let it go.

They said that if an account is dormant for a long period, it gets flagged and closed. They said we could open another one. So, fresh start

over 6 months. It was not suspended, although. It was active.

i had an account dormant for years, and when i tried to access it , it did not work...i contacted amazon and they basically said the same thing...dormant too long, make another account.

And did you go make another account? What happened? Did it link you or it worked fine?

I had an account on Amazon Europe that I opened and never sold on....a couple months ago they charged me the 25 euros selling fees (for unknown reasons) and then recently I got an email saying my account was dormant for too long and was being closed. The email also stated that if I wanted to sell on Amazon Europe in the future, I was welcome to create a new seller account.

Granted, this is a different marketplace, but I think it shows they have a "security policy" to close inactive Seller Accounts.
