Linking from embedded url in email?
Here's my scenario:
I emailed myself a USPS tracking number that I copied and pasted into my email browser while using my laptop. I use hotmail.
By accident the following url was embedded/attached to the tracking number: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/...eID=XXXXXXXXXX
I use the hotmail app for my android smartphone.
I opened up my hotmail app on my smartphone and went to the email I sent myself with the usps tracking number.
I saw that it was a link and thought I was going to refer me to www.usps.com and track the package.
It directed me to the Amazon login page.
I immediately closed the webpage.
Do you think the hotmail app passes my email address when it connected to Amazon?
I have never logged into my banned amazon account on my smartphone, nor have I ever even tried to login to Amazon on my smartphone.
Do you think I'm in any trouble?
Thanks in advance
