''Another device is using the same IP address''

I was logged in on my Amazon Stealth user account on my Macbook, and suddenly this warning appeared:

''Another device on your network is using the same IP address''

Or something similar.

What does this mean? The IP address the pop-up message showed was different from my IP address (according to IPBurger)

Am I in trouble.

Network settings show a different IP address than IPBurger does, what is my real IP :(

Wi-Fi is connected to home and has the IP address 192.168.1.104.

But IPBurger shows completely different IP :(

What you found (192.168.1.104) is your network IP which is irrelevant.

Hrrmm.. I think parts of IPBurger.com are broken.. of course the IP details are fine but the extra bits aren't loading all the way.. gotta tweak it a bit I think.

this warning sometimes pops up if your phone is also using the same wifi...nothing to worry about...
