Default Amazon messing me about.

Very recently my ODR fell below 1% on Amazon.

They then temporarily suspended my account and stated I have to email my plan of action on how I will improve.

My ODR is about 2.83%. After sending them emails back and forth of my plan of action they reinstated my selling privileges.

Then 10 days later again suspended it. I sent them another email and they stated they apologise for any inconvenience they sometimes error on the caution of side to protect their buyers.

Now 2 weeks later again they have suspended it. Emailed them and they state I have to submit my plan of action on how I will improve.

My ODR is improving as I get more orders coming on. But this is very annoying and frustrating.

Any advice would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Maybe there are different reps looking at the account and missing the case file. Respond patiently and professionally to each notice. Point out that you have received the notices before and submitted plans of action.

Amazon generally gives you a soft 30 days to correct a problem like this. If they don't see improvement, it doesn't look good for you.

And once they send you an email with anything like "despite repeated warnings....etc", you are done for and no number of appeals will change their mind.

I replied politely and professionally to the email I received.

Literally a few hours later they stated "we have reinstated your selling privileges." The account has now undergo another review. I can still sell and their is no hold on my funds.

The ODR is now 2.5% and I have received no more negative feedbacks or A-Z guarantee claims.

I don't know it could be that this review is not as strict as the first one.

May just be a general review to see how the account is performing

I am not sure if theres any review that has no funds withheld policy attached to it
its 7 day 14 day or 28 day rolling reserve.
It might be possible that you just came out of a review suspension and so your funds show as ready to disburse but the sales after that will most likely go into reserve

just an idea, not sure if counterproductive, so comments welcome but is there any mileage in stopping selling to be on the safe side for a few weeks, allow the feedback and successful order metrics to catch up....??

That is what I was thinking too.

But I guess as sales increase ODR reduces. (As long as no - feedbacks or A-Z guarantee claims)

I see the thinking behind that oompa, but with Amazon there is lag....someone will leave bad feedback or complain 30 days after the sale.

Safer to just keep selling and get those metrics back up.

i would say keep selling but go slow .you can also appeal but sometimes they accept the appeal and at other times they will tell you to wait till the review time ends and the same old automated message so best is sell but slow and dont rush sales
