HELP with new account..

Hi

So i have just got a brand new laptop and i have never logged onto amazon with it and i want to make a new account.

I need to re-set my router, i have read the Amazon Ghost guide on how to do this and i don't quite understand.

I've had amazon accounts before under the same IP address so it's really important that i change this properly.

Do i just check my ip address, unplug it and then plug it back and check the ip address has changed?

Can someone please help me and if this is wrong explain what i do..

Your IP looks to be dynamic so it should be as easy as that

So all i need to do is unplug the router and wait 20 seconds and plug it in again and check that the ip address has changed?

Do i need to change any mac address?

Only need to change the MAC address if the turn router off and then on method does not work.

So just to clarify this

I have a brand new laptop so don't have to follow any of the other steps apart from turning my router on and off to change the IP address

I can then set up the new account with different personal details etc

You still need to make sure that you look totally different to Amazon. You cannot simply relist all the items you have previously listed. You will need a new bank account, ideally with a different bank.

So if i use halifax can i not just open a savings account with them for the new amazon account?

A new laptop will effectively cover almost everything. Ensure your IP changes, change all your personal details and bank details that includes the 16 digit card number, sort code and account number.

You need to be a brand new person that Amazon has no recognistion with!

After that you are good to go. Remember to selll slowly and not list too much of the same stock from the suspended account.

A new Halifax savings account will give you a new account number and sort code.

So yes that's good for the deposit method.
