It is quite different on Amazon, is this going to be a stealth account as well, or have you never tried selling on it before? If you are going stealth on it there is the AmazonGhost guide for sale on here, and it is advisable to buy that and learn from a stealth or ghost point of view, about the changes in selling on there.

Listing items is very different, they use a kind of piggyback way of doing things, where to list in the first place you look to see if anyone else is already selling that item and if they are you will find a 'have one of these to sell? Click here to sell it' and when you click the page is ready made for you with the same pic that was on the other listing at the same price, you can change that price, they always encourage you to list cheaper as well.

They are very keen on doing account reviews, I am on one at the moment that has been going on some time, but I can still sell and list and there is a rolling reserve that means when I sell anything I have to wait 2 weeks to withdraw any funds. Currently there are no limits on my account I was told when I phoned up about something a while back. This account is in my real detaiks I should point out as well, I have never been suspended by Amazon, not yet anyway!!

Thanks guys, my real Amazon account just got suspended for no reason, well maybe too many messages in 1 week prior to suspension otherwise my reviews and feedbacks were all above 4.8. I am looking to use Amazon Stealth account now but as I worked on Amazon I know the structure is different to eBay. But things like bank accounts and debit cards where I use to receive my money every 2 weeks are worrying me. I will but the Amazon Ghost anyway but was just looking for some quick tips on how difficult it is to work with Amazon Stealth.

@ redevils anything is possible as long as you invest time and are serious about getting back on.

Read that guide carefully and ask questions on this forum. You should be back on its not hard at all. Just know that amazon goes further than eBay for linking accounts

It isn't difficult just different Redevilz, it is actually good to be on both platforms because of those differences I think, so far anyway, some people are wildly successful on one or the other, very few make that level of success on both at the same time.

There is always a reason - not always a good one but a reason nonetheless

Yes, as Rosie said, they use the piggyback system. It is very quick this way to list an item and works well, but you can also create your own listings too, just slightly more hassle.

If you do well, they give you the buy box. Then the cash register opens and you have your hand in the till. Always fun to see other sellers battling for a race to the bottom price while you have the buy box sitting pretty at a higher price and taking all the sales.

Along with Buy Box also comes the pile of bogus-reason returns and out-of-nowhere A-to-Z claims. This is how more successful Amazon sellers are getting rid of competition. So it sometimes is better to sit among those battling for a bottom price hehe
