Hello forum.I have a issue on amazon with a competitor using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts to
buy out all my fba inventory. The issue is that he is using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts with invalid credit card information.Therefor when he buys out all the fba inventory ,it goes into a pending mode up to 5 days while amazon waits for their account to update credit card info completely taking my inventory off fba.And when I say buy out ,i mean if i have a product with a qty of 20 .He will take 1 buyer account and purchase all 20 in 1 shot.Theres nothing I can really do about it since amazon doesn't allow you to cancel pending orders. And if I report,he can just make a new account to do it from and amazon by time they do something the 5 days of pending will most likely be over.Anybody ever had competitors try to do this on amazon, how do you fight against it?

I think a complaint to Amazon may be in order here. Yes, we normally advise against it. But I don't see any other solution. I would not expect Amazon to act on your one complaint, but if you give them the information about the accounts that are involved, Amazon will most likely monitor them and then close them if they see the same accounts doing the same thing over and over. If the actions show they always benefit a particular seller, THAT account could be closed as well - which is the desired outcome.
I HATE people who operate this way. They THINK they are clever, but they are just scum. Eventually, they get caught, get tired of doing it and move on. Meanwhile they deprive honest sellers of sales.
But they DO get caught, because they leave a trail of information leading right back to the seller who is benefiting from this. And that is NOT smart or clever. It is just crooked.

I guess only small and stupid seller would play that dirty. You can kill him / Her by doing the same thing. Reporting amz is quick and easy to get them killed. But i sugest you do the same thing to them, just let them feel how dirty it is and taste it. )

This is a dog eat dog world. I am not condoning the methods used but this is one I have not seen before, thats why I said clever and I have been around 15 years plus. You can contact amazon and I would but I would assume there will be very little interest as amazon is not losing anything.
My suggestion would be send more stock.
Is the buyer doing anything wrong in amazon eyes, all amazon will view that he does not have enough limit on his credit card and the sale is cancelled.

One thing eBay has that Amazon NEEDS is a block feature. Can't tell you how many times I have used this feature on eBay against competitors....I have had competitors play dirty tricks on Amazon and play them right back...
FIRST, report them to Amazon
SECOND, ask your family or friends with different Amazon accounts to purchase THE SAME item from the seller (2-3 sales)
FINALLY, after the order is fulfilled, have EVERYONE report the item as not as described or counterfeit. The other seller will get the idea. I have even had them contact me to apologize and say lets not do this to each other, yada yada yada. I have probably been able to get 1-2 kicked off of Amazon as well...If Amazon can link their buying account, to the selling account, big red flag.
I ONLY do this if another seller is playing dirty with me.

invalid card info? what is that then, no funds on it? or some other reason? if you know how, then you can do exactly the same thing back.........til he gets the message.
So it goes in to pending with no funds on the card....that is so stupid...

I just test this and here is what happen.
- I have a no longer work credit card in my buyer account (bank replace with new card)
- Order random item from Amazon. The order process and no error (declined or invalid CC)
- Amazon did take that item out off the seller stock
- 2 hours later got email from Amazon that I need to update my credit card.
- At the same time. Amazon put 2 items that I ordered back in the seller stock.

Why don't you limit it to 2 items per person, then he would need to create 10 accounts to buy out all your stock, which would make it more difficult for him, i don't know if you can limit to 2 items, but you can definately limit to 5 per person.

That is interesting.
Would using an old linked suspended account and changing the name and address to theirs get them suspended?

BUT, most likely, if he/she is a member here, the buyer account has no legitimate activity, which still makes it very suspicious to Amazon and liable to be shut-down.

I ONLY do this if another seller is playing dirty with me. | I have had the same thing just a few days ago, where this jack ass tried to make me remove my offer for a particular asin that only he and I sell. I replied saying that he should know that if he's going to play dirty I'm going to do the same just harder and dirtier. To make a long story short seller performance blocked me from selling this asin.I have used 5 different buyer accounts to order this item to 5 different addresses. Once they are delivered how do I report him to Amazon? I only found the option to return the item. If I mention in my return request that item is not as described will it eventually be handled by seller performance? Or is there a different way to raise these complains?

Also your messages should always sound professional since Amazon reads it and it could be used against you..
Make sure your buyer accounts are stealth and not linked to your seller accounts at all

You have their name and address through the invoice already. Can't you just go to a suspended account and put that info in, and thus get the guy instantly suspended?
