Default The next problem on Pre Paid credit cards

It appears that amazon are stopping accepting certain gift cards for sign up. The next thing to worry about is when they start removing gift cards from established accounts that are already trading. I would assume this will happen sometime in the no to distant future.

It will all be over soon for selling on amazon it's not worth it. For them to keep tightening the noose it is just ridiculous now . And holding funds for extra time and so on . All the games they play it is really not worth it for me hope everyone has better luck

Im not so sure.

If its an aged account with no issues and Amazon gives it the seal of approval, they would be taking a big hit if they killed all the giftcard accounts.

bigger risk in new accounts.

Does amazon really care, if you don't sell an item someone else will, so no loss. All that will happen on disbursement day is the credit card on file is invalid and ask you update the info. So amazon take no hit as they keep your money till you update the info and they keep selling your products via other sellers.

Most gift cards have a short expiry date. When you come to renew it there will be trouble

It's still OK if they let you know your CC is invalid and need to be update. I just afraid that they just delete the account. Opsssss, don't want to think about that

I have almost 10 on last Friday from Amazon.com and all have Vanilla.

Also 1 from Amazon.ca. Vanilla is invalid and have to update with new entropay.

Here is a thought...

Once you start selling and you know the account is successful, why not just add your bank debit card to Amazon? Usually, you get one with each bank account anyway. All you would have to do is to add the stealth address as an address on the bank card, telling the bank that you wanted to add it for shipping reasons. Perhaps not EVERY bank will be receptive to this, but I have never had a problem.

Also, I have to believe that we WILL find cards that work. But most of my Amazon accounts have actual bank cards added once the original gift card or VCC expires.

Are there any VCC sellers on the forums that have VCC's that will work for Amazon?

I have been on this forum for 5 years. Every time a problem comes up, everyone says "OMG, it is the END of Stealth!" but somehow we always find workarounds. Remember when they came up with the 1099-k requirement? Everyone, INCLUDING ME, was nervous. But we found a way around it. Now, I WOULD say that the days of "turn and burn" are probably over, but they have been for awhile now. Nowadays, it pays to take care of your accounts.

This is a good attitude to have. Think about it. Amazon won't shut down old accounts that are already up. They make money from them in fees. Also I highly doubt that Amazon OR Ebay will ever require Photo ID to sign up unless the USA government requires them to do so. They would have to spend large amounts of money on processing the files and hiring employees to verify. They would also have to spend money on storing names in a database for the verification as well.

Also let's be honest. VANilla visas should have never worked in the first place LOL
