Hi all,
Having issues with one of the buyer who is asking for a refund after using the item for eight months. What should I do? Can the buyer open a case against me or leave negative feedback?
Any input greatly appreciated.

Buyer can open A-z claim or leave a feedback up to 90 days from the day of purchase. On some occasions AZ support allows buyer to extend this period to 6 months. You are safe |

Just politely say no as its outside amazon's terms.
If its faulty ask him to contact the manufacturer under its warranty.

It is not faulty. It is physically damaged by buyer. Not covered under warranty

Lol, I'd send the buyer a postcard with "**** off, you ****" written on it. People like that are a waste of oxygen.

after 8 months... you should be fine. People can request amazon to open an a-z manually though if it's pass 60 days and they think it's your fault.
But if it's the buyer's fault then you have nothing to worry about denying a refund.

I once had someone open an A-Z claim after a year of purchase for non delivery.
Everything is possible with amazon.

Thought there was a time limit on A-Z claims.

I find that VERY hard to believe.

DONT SCREW WITH THE BUYER.
If I bought something and the seller sent me a postcard with F off, know I what I would do? I would have ALL OF MY FRIENDS buy EVERY PRODUCT from that seller. Once we received the items, we would all file charge backs. item not received. Item broken, everything. We would ask for complete refunds, everything. Good luck recovering after shipping off almost all of your inventory only to get charge backs and A to Zs on all of it. That will ruin most sellers.
