Amazon bans banks and prepaid cards routings
hi comrades!
i noticed that when i add a Goldman Sachs Bank (formerly GE Capital Bank) savings account, my amz account immediately gets a 28-day review (checked 5-6 times). Quote:
We are reviewing your Amazon.com seller account. A reserve equal to your gross sales amount for the preceding 28 days will apply while your account is under review. Based on your order volume, the amount of the reserve may change daily.
When your account balance exceeds this reserve amount, you will be able to transfer funds based on your settlement schedule. You can view details on the Payments page in the Reports section of Seller Central (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/...t-summary.html).
| but! at the same time i noticed that when you add an account opened with another banks (e.g. CITI, BOA or any other CU's), nothing happens (i mean that my amz account will not get a such review then).
so that's actually the question: is amz really selectively blocks the routing numbers of banks and what it can be connected to? btw, some people claim that it is not only Goldman Sachs Bank (GE Capital Bank) was banned, but also a couple of prepaid cards routings (e.g. jhpreferred, paypower, rushcard).
