MAC address interpretation from command prompt
Ok, in short, running on a macbook pro, using vmware running windows 7. Spoofed my mac address in windows 7 with macmakeup software. Went to command prompt, got 2 mac addresses listed, one says disconnected. The one disconnected looks like it was my original mac address. Here is the result when I type "getmac" without quotes:
Physical Address Transport Name
=================== ========================
CC-25-A5-DA-3D-30 \Device\Tcpip_{E339EE86-
XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX Media disconnected
I of course XX it all out for my real mac address. The one where it starts with CC is the one where it is spoofed. That is what online websites like Amazon sees is this correct?
