Default 5-day listings

Okay so we've pretty much established that 3-day auctions for noob accounts are a big no-no. Listing a 7-day auction (or a few) after a few hours of creating an account is safe more often than not, but what about listing a FIVE-DAY auction with a 0-fb account.. what kind of experiences have people had with this so far if you've done it?

Five and seven are the same. Three day auctions are only for those high risk items. Other then that it isn't a huge deal.

I had an account suspended a while ago that I used 5 day, but I don't think thats why I was suspended. I had signed into a super old account that I thought was still in good shape but it was suspended and they linked me to that account almost instantly. I use 7 day for the first month or so.

Okay, I think it's also because eBay sees what I sell as "high risk". 3-day auctions have been a total minefield for me on new accounts.

Yup, 3 day auctions will usually get u suspended for Abuse if you're selling vero items. 5 and 7 day are basically the same thing and make no difference.

But if you arent selling vero, go for the 3 day listing

i always use 7, because when your listing brand name items it takes 24 hours for it to actually show, in which your getting only 6 days.

I list 3 day auctions for VERO and non-VERO items all the time and never get suspended for it.

i just did about 150 3 day auction this week, but i also have over 400 positives on that account. i think you're okay as long as you don't do them right off the bat on a new account.

Huh? Does your eBay return you a message saying this item is a VERO, please go back and select 5 days instead of 3 days? Mine doesn't.
