Is there any Bar code scanner that I can attach to my computers USB to help me upload listings for CD's DVDs VHS tapes & other things with UPC symbols? instead on manually typing the UPC numbers to find the exact item? and if so is this a simple & easy way to do this, Any suggestions??? thanks everybody!

I also use the scanner app on my iPhone , great when at a store , u can instantly scan an item and see what it goes for on ebay/ Amazon. My iPhone is the most powerful tool that makes running accounts really easy a few key apps works magic. All except the EBAY APP IM NOT PROMOTING THAT STAY AWAY.

Works like a charm.
The looks I get when scanning items it worth it. Most who dont know what I am doing with give me that death stare down.
Thrift store had bin of games on sale. I went through scanned them to see what they were going for, picked out a huge stack.
Did the same thing with the music cds.
Great items for Amazon.
Also works well for any new item in the box at yard sales etc.

Symbol LS2208-SR20007 USB is the exact one I use and it seems to be bullet proof. |

I like the model TGMT squared but the app on the phone is cheaper and quick download - good point by the others

I have one similar to that but find the phone scanner to be much easier to use.
Using one of those in a thrift store or at a yard sale would draw lots of attention.

If you are asking if a USB barcode scanner will work to scan a UPC and it will enter the number without manually typing it in, then yes any barcode scanner.
I played with the one I use in my store, and if I open up a Word document and scan a UPC it will enter it in the text field, it will also work on AZ and Ebay.

Need for elaborate scanner (aka more than the phone app) will depend on level of commerce - phone app seems beautiful for more people.

Forgot you own a store.
Many of us who go out and look for items with bar codes need to look them up to see what items are selling for.
Would be awesome for those who sell on Amazon a lot.

Would be awesome for those who sell on Amazon a lot. | I have the barcode app on my android as well, its a great app. I think the OP was asking if a bar code scanned can be used instead of typing in the number manually for each listing, which I can see if selling lots of UPC'd merchandise on ebay or az would save a ton of time. Bar code scanners can be bought for under 40 dollars. I wouldnt think twice about spending the 40 to save my time (and possibly prevent carpal tunnel ) :-)
