Hello
Just wondering whether you guys list unbranded items as buy it now items, or as auctions, and which strategy is more profitable and the reasons why?

Auctions or BIN - depends on the particular niche and competition - some categories have intense competition that WILL destroy your auctions and leave you unpaid.

As for why...profits to be made - more detailed discussion is highly item specific.

I used to sell both ways and had success with both.

Low end non name items are good feedback builders and if your account is limited to ten items a month might as well list it for sevend days and hope to get some competition bidding.

Really depends on what the item is and what the demand is like.

High demand, I go with auctions (over 5 days generally), low demand I go with BIN and it sits there until its bought.

I typically go with BIN as ebay offers the "free" promotions to list BIN's now whereas before I did auctions due to insertion fees.
