ronaldchen | 12-22-2008 07:10 PM | Anyone use inkfrog? I just wonder does it shares IP information with eBay?
Any ideas? |
newguy121 | 03-06-2009 01:08 PM | Also curious.
Anyone use this service? Anyone care to share experiences. After the auctiva virus... |

newguy121 | 03-06-2009 03:14 PM | This is the catagory, Auction Listing and the title is Anyone Use Inkfrog.
Hence why I posted. It has nothing to do with ip tracking. |
aquariusvc | 03-07-2009 09:51 PM | inkfrog is not good as auctiva :D i like auctiva :D |
newguy121 | 03-08-2009 03:17 PM | Very enlightening post. Best of the best in this thread. |
ketchup | 05-29-2009 06:12 PM | any update on this, does it share tracking information? |
lyl797 | 10-13-2009 05:51 AM | InkFrog has problems 24 Hrs all around, the most unstable platform I've ever seen in my life .. |
SevnSins | 10-13-2009 03:12 PM | I agree. They were not ready for the amount of customers that ran to them in the beginning. Right after Auctiva announced the price change, many people ran to IF, and started asking for certain things to be modified to better suit their needs. Alot of those changes went well, but others seem to have hurt the platform more than help.

undertheradar | 01-10-2010 08:05 PM | ive been using inkfrog for the past year after auctiva started charging. i think its brilliant, much better than autiva. there were a few bugs to start with, like the picture loader always crashing, but thats been fixed. you can do everything in inkfrog, without ever logging into ebay apart from answer buyer questions. good picture hosting, nice templates if thats your thing, good support, nice interface. supports multiple ebay accounts. you even get a free buy it sell it store for a year. |
Isparana | 01-10-2010 08:16 PM | What kind of questions does inkfrog ask of you when you sign up? |
undertheradar | 01-10-2010 08:43 PM | what do you mean? they just need your name, your ebay user i.ds and however you want to pay. i pay via paypal. |
Isparana | 01-10-2010 10:45 PM | Never used inkfrog or heard of it till now, so the question is what are they going to ask you to use them. What type of personal info. You answered the question pretty fully.
Many thanks |
undertheradar | 01-10-2010 10:57 PM | they want the usual: name address, dob, email etc.. just make it up if you dont want your details with them. 99% they dont share any info with the bay. as ive never had any problems and have four bay accounts on my one inkfrog account.(you just switch between them. for me thats the best feature.
the thing with inkfrog is i find it very easy to use
just been on to support about 30 mins ago and they replied within 30secs !
you dont get that on auctiva
remember though if you are in the uk, they are in the us, so i have to file any support questions at night here, i.e when its the daytime in the us
lots of video tutorials on their site. or have a look on you tube as all their video tutorials are on there, so you can get a feel for it before you take the plunge
good image hosting as well
costs $10 us dollars a month
i used to use auctiva until they came up with their insane price plan, so i switched and never looked back
hope this helps |
Isparana | 01-10-2010 11:00 PM | so inkfrog is $10 a month plus your natural ebay fees. If I understand correctly, you join inkfrog and can post to ebay using, I believe they call it, a token. |
You can use both Auctiva and Inkfrog.
If you are a bit thrifty you can use the FREE trail on one then switch to the other.
They both offer a "buffer" so ebay cant track you.
Both excellent listing tools. |
undertheradar | 01-11-2010 05:30 AM | ^^^^^ like he said
yes its 10 usd a month plus your ebay fees
worth it for picture hosting alone in my opinion |
The bonus with inkfrog is that you can edit LIVE listing from inkfrog.
With Auctiva you cant do this, you have to make changes in ebay, and I dont like to log into ebay if it can be avoided. |

EbayHustle | 02-28-2010 10:30 AM | How are people avoiding the username in image links issue? |
Yes that is the one major feature that is missing with Auctiva and the sooner they rectify it the better.
I actually prefer listing on Auctiva but inkfrog has them beat with the amending live listings direct from your inkfrog account. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:35 PM. | |
