Par for this time of year. Goes into a slum for the early part of downunder Autumn, most years.

Yeah, I usually see an increase after the first weeks of Autumn in OZ.

In NSW, school vacation does not start for another week or so. Books show in previous years lower sales.

As rsot says Competition is a big factor, plus weather and holidays time of month for payday, have a search for completed and live listings on your phone and log the difference each month and lower prices accordingly : )

A useful tool to help you analyze this is Terapeak. It allows you to look up your competitor's sales. You can do it by item, number sold, average price, etc. It allows you to see if everyone else is in the same boat or if it is just you. This can provide some very valuable insight - are your sales the only ones taking a hit? If so, then you need to find out WHY it is happening so that you can correct it. Or it can confirm that it was just a bad week.

All valid reasons. But mostly it's due to decreased traffic to the site. Splitting with paypal and Panda 4.2 in the same month wounded eBay pretty bad. Personally I think eBay is on it's last legs.

Last legs? Hardly so in my opinion - what's Panda 4.2 got to do with this?

1st item sold in 4 days! For a moment i thought ebay is blocking buyers from buying but letting me list although i could see the listing when i search.

It seems sales are slow from my research. I have changed titles of my listing

I have all my listings bookmarked and check my prices vs competitors 2x-4x a day. Half my items just vanish for sometimes a day or two... Very funky thing I have not seen before. usually I wait it out and after a day or two its back on the same bookmark... Yet the viewers and watchers increase so some people are seeing it, just not everyone. Not sure what is causing this.

maybe ebay.ca is doing well, but not .co.uk . Panda 4.2 killed of high % of traffic from google searches to eBay listings. Like naming your photos with relevant keywords used to give you a massive boost on google searches, not any more. Why I think they are on their last legs? They are only 1 serious law suit away from going under.
