I wouldn't say so. These days, it's entirely possible to get the dreaded "we have reviewed your selling activity and have decided you are high risk, we don't want you around, blah blah blah" email after just a few violations, even if you haven't used all the violations you're "entitled" to.
Evidently I have a Vero strike on my account from posting a vintage item with a certain t.v show in the listing. I had NO idea at the time this was a bad thing. When I called 5 months ago they said don't worry about it. The first time isn't so bad. I talked to a CSR today who told me my account won't be able to have the category restrictions lifted permanently because of this strike.
I wish I had known this would happen earlier so I could have emailed the VERO people. Does anyone know if you can beg to have the strike removed? And if you can how to do it?
I am so worried now that my account is going to get suspended or permanently have category restrictions.
You can't beg to have it removed and you shouldnt be contacting eB further about this - you MAY get suspended if you have an agent look at your account.
Let the account cool down - don't repeat past transgressions
Thanks I am learning so much from the forum. I will never call again. Beyond the point when I do call they never really resolve my issues, just make me want to bang my head on the wall. I am taking all the pro's advice. I am going to slowly diversify. I am going to stick to my area of clothing but branch out into different categories and keep stealth.
