Activity: 0% Longevity: 63% | | ATT MIFI will sometimes change IP addresses while in use
Sometimes I use ATT MIFI on my stealth accounts. I turn it off and on, and I will 99.9% of the time get a different IP address. Great, that's what I want. But, sometimes I will get an IP address that I have already used before. That's not an issue either because I use IP Burger to check and note my IP address. Now, this is my issue: Sometimes I will log in with a new IP address for my stealth. While I am logged in to EB, my IP address will sometimes change. This bothers me because sometimes it gives me an IP I have already used before. I do not want to go from a clean IP to an IP associated with another stealth. So my real question is this:
Does EB track your IP when you log in only, or the entire time you are logged in?
Thank you in advance

Your IP will be tracked the entire time.
If possible I would look for something less prone to changing IP addresses while in use.

If u have it on for a half hour the connection is more stable I find

Eb will track IP while you are logged in - if you lose IP and take up a new one, they can see this.

Thank you in advance | That means, the MIFI has a default timeout. When the screen goes out, the connection will be terminated until there is an activity.
When you start an activity, the MIFI will reconnect but can get a new IP if the previous one has been taken.
The best thing would be streaming an online radio while working on each account.
You can also adjust the timeout in settings.
I hope this helps.

I hope this helps. | Not all boxes do this. Will depend on the brand.

With my verizon hotspot I never got a repeat IP in 10 months time and once I have it on for 20-30 mins it keeps one IP, even after I change them it's stable

this may sound weird n I don't know if its purely by chance BUT if you keep the wifi connected to two devices at the same time for example your laptop and a phone both connected to your wifi device the hole time, I find the ip will remain stable and not change mid session.

Actually, every single bit of that seems helpful. I have noticed that when I am on it for a long time that it seems to never change the IP. I esp like the thought of streaming. That's kind of like getting electrocuted and not being able to let go of the signal. Thank you all who had contributed to this, and I hope others can find this useful.
In case anyone else was curious, the ATT MIFI Liberate box does have a screen time out setting. I actually like this device because I do not have to change my router all the time. The kids like to bitch are playing xbox or watching roku. The only real issue I have/had with it is that a few times it changed IP addresses on me. Again, thanks for yall's contributions!

bjammin are you on the prepaid atnt plan? and if so when did you sign up for it. I ve been to two different atnt stores and both places said atnt doesn't offer the prepaid wifi plan anymore only contracts.

I am on a 2 yr contract for 50/mo for 5GB. Pre-paid was not an option offered, and the 50/mo for 5GB was the only plan offered. So, basically, there was no "PLANS" just a plan. But I did save 15% on my car insurance! I did get 50 off my iPhone and the device for free.
