ebay gift card on file about to expire...does vanilla work?

I only have one eBay Stealth account. Had it for 7 years. Seven years ago I was able to use a mastercard gift card to sign up as a seller and get verified. Now it is about to expire. I heard that gift cards don't work anymore on ebay on file in order to sell. What does for sure...100%. Vanilla or vcc? Please pm me the answer or answer here if it kosher. Thanks. Trying to reword this so I get a response.

Who said Gift Cards don't work anymore? I use Gift Cards all the time along with VCC's...

Just so you know, Ebay doesn't require a Card anymore....You only need a Card for Paypal.

Yea vanilla Visa cards 100% work great! and if you you can either add it to eBay or to your Paypal account

It would be better to add to paypal that way you take care of 2 issues, use paypal as funding source and remove the withdraw limit from your paypal account assuming it's verified

But I'm sure you already have everything worked out, great job on that 7 year old stealth account

Thank you both so much. I have worried for two years now knowing that my gift card on ebay file as a seller would expire in summer of 2014 and I worried for nothing it sounds like. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just pop in a new gift card (Vanilla Visa works) and you will be ok - I have done this quite a few times.

I also use Entropay

Just used the vanilla visa gift card last night. It worked just fine!
