DIY or Buy? Setting up first stealth account (Newbie Q)

Hi all,

Recently-banished eBayer here. I am debating between purchasing a stealth account that's already set up and doing it myself. I am not what I would consider tech savvy, but I am bright and a quick learner (grad degree and book worm/nerd). What are the downsides to buying an account (esp. an aged one) versus starting from scratch on my own?

Would love to hear from people with experience on both tracks.

Odds are if you make one yourself, you'll get a low limit like 5/500 or maybe even the 0/0.

Buy a high limit acct like 500/25000. Sell like crazy and make 19k, then shelf the account till next year. Rinse'n repeat.

I've only had one acct die. PayPal got me. The only thing different between my accounts was this one hit 19k in about 5 weeks. So, something to think about.

Id recommend opening a couple of accounts on your own just to learn the process and become familiar with all that running a stealth account entails.
When youre more comfortable with the various procedures involved you can always buy an account then.
