Activity: 0% Longevity: 54% | | TIP: Calling In On 0/0 Accounts...You Can Get 30/3000 Limit
Just a heads up if you get 0/0 limits when first creating an account. I usually call in on these accounts and automatically get asked verification questions in order to increase the selling limit. However, now they are giving an option to either start out with 30/3000 OR they can do "further verification" and set you at 100/5000. Having 100/5000 has been the standard for a while now when you go through verification questions. Don't give up hope on 0/0 accounts...most of the time they are salvageable and a lot of it has to do with the phone number you use to create the account (things like Google Voice and free texting apps can cause 0/0 limits).

Did you call at all?
I got options like link to another seller account, upgrade to business and talk to
Us on the phone.
Thanks

Sorry if I wasn't clear in my first post. You have to CALL in order to do this...this isn't an automated feature that you can access from the "request selling limit" link.

Does this only work with 0/0 accounts, or can you call if you have like 50/500 give or take higher or lower? When you do call, what kind of questions do they ask? And do you call with the number associated with the account or can you use a different number i.e. dial *67 to block number ID? Thanks!

Thanks! | If you do call ebay, you'll want to use the same phone number. I believe they have the ability to "unblock" your number, as do most large businesses.

So you call in and it's a rep you ask for the 30/3000? Or is this an automated system you punch in?

Thanks! | Only works for 0/0 accounts. If you have anything other than 0/0, such as 5/500, they will tell you that you need to sell within those limits for at least 30 days before getting an increase. However, sometimes you get an automatic bump during those 30 days, without ever having to call back in.
And you have to call from the number registered on your account.
