4 Years on a Stealth Account... Am I out of the woods?

So I followed the information I received from eBay Stealth and am going strong after 4 years. I've been anally efficient when it comes to the details.

Since I have the eBay Stealth and paypal account in my biological father's name (we have different last names), I deposit funds from paypal into his bank account and he writes me a check about once every 1-2 months. I'd like to start to remove that process and not have him as involved.

With that said, I'm looking to LLC my business. Here is the situation:

eBay account (stealth in father's name)
paypal business account (stealth in father's name) under eBay username
Etsy store: My name, different username than eBay username
My Primary Paypal Business Account same username as Etsy Store

Question is, if I wanted eliminate my father's involvement as far as the bank account and writing checks, will I need to LLC in the stealth paypal's name? Then open a checking account under that name and deposit paypal funds? I'd prefer to LLC in my Etsy Store/Primary Business Paypal account. But if I changed my bank account info in the stealth account, will they know it's me?

One more questions, Last week I applied to sell on Amazon in a category that requires approval. I hadn't heard back after 4-5 days so I resubmitted. Then I received an email stating they have large volume of requests in that category and they would get back to me IF I qualify.... Is my old eBay account (the one that was suspended) somehow preventing me from selling on Amazon? Thanks for your time, sorry for the long message!

If any of the information is in a family members name especially on the banking side it's not really suggested stealth at all. The answer to your questions is in the Stealth Book.

I just reread the eBay Stealth PDF book I have and it sounds like I can create a new bank account in any name I choose and link it to my Paypal as they only verify the routing and account numbers. Sound correct?

Can you quote the exact phrase from the stealth guide that suggest to "create a new bank account in any name", please?

Not sure which book you read but that is incorrect, what you probably understood is that you can add any bank under any name to the PayPal since PayPal cannot see the bank owners name (Your Name).

Here is what it said: "What Paypal is looking for is a new routing and account number. They cannot verify the name on the bank account unless the bank itself was to pass that information on, which they almost never do. And yes Paypal will ask for the "name on bank account" but again they don't check, and can't verify this, so just put the name you got from step 3." (step 3 discusses LLC and DBA).

Basically where I am at right now is I'm ready to LLC my business. And I can't decide which name to LLC it in and subsequently, create a business checking account under?

1) The business account name on the Paypal account that was created in my dad's name and ss#, or
2) The business account name on the Paypal account that is in my name and ss#?

I'd prefer mine, but not if it links me to the other.. Other option is that I just LLC in my name and leave the stealth account alone and continue having him involved and writing me checks? I've also considered sending paypal friends and family from his Paypal to mine maybe 3 or 4 times a year. But I've been too afraid to do that as well...

Any name is misleading.

We expect bank accounts to be in a real name for banking purposes.
Real ID is needed to create a bank account.

It's been 4 years, I really don't recall where it came from but it lead me to here 4 years ago. I don't recall my original username/password so I signed up again recently. So I was on here before. The source I still have saved in my documents is eBay Stealth 3.1.1. Is that not a source that is "approved" on these forums?

Correct you need a real name. I understand my issue is fairly complicated. What I (ideally) want to do, is LLC my business, open a checking account in the business' name. Link that checking account to the Paypal stealth account so I can deposit funds from my sales directly to me without going through dad anymore, which also would make things a little easier at tax time. But is this too risky?

And if I name the company & bank account what I want to name it (my other registered Business Paypal account that is in my name, but is linked to the restricted eBay account) will they link them to the Stealth account?

Nothing risky about adding a bank account. Your situation is not complicated. It also is not stealth at all. It is you using your dad's account.

Yeah adding a bank account doesn't seem risky it's just the name on it I wanted to make 100% sure I would be safe.

And while maybe by definition it's not a stealth account, I had to create it and start from scratch with dad's info but I've been running it and doing all the precautions with ip addresses and such to not get linked to mine. So it feels like a stealth account

You will need to file your LLC with the state.
Get a EIN

Take the articles of Incorporation and EIN and open a Business Checking Account and add a savings Business Account (Free additional account you can use for different ebay)

The bank account name will be in whatever you name it.

Upgrade Your eb/pp using this info and add them to pp.

Your ready to get money in your own account and use the EIN for your taxes.

I'm with you on every step except, what do you mean "upgrade" eb/pp? Paypal in father's name is already a "business account".

Paypal may not like you editing the business name and tax information on the existing business with a name and tax number on it. Sometimes it is fine and a lot of times you get limited and have to supply docs.

Why do you feel you need to update the account to LLC? NO PURPOSE for it what so ever.

Like Yankee said, start a new account with LLC info so you will then have 2 accounts.

NEVER EVER give them more info than they already have or need. Youre just wasting LLC info that can be used for a new account

Start a new Stealth? I'm 4 years in on this one and have 250 feedback at 100% with 5.0 DSR. I'd like to keep building on that. Plus how would I get more, I only have so many IP addresses I can use?

As for Paypal not liking me editing the business name, will I have to do that? All I would be adding is a new bank account. And if what was previously said that they won't know the name on the bank account, all I would give paypal is a routing and account number.

I want to LLC my business for a couple reasons. One being so I can create a new bank account for the business.

Essentially I'm trying to eliminate the middle man (dad's bank account) is my primary goal. If anyone has any other suggestions I'm listening.
