Finally off of probation... both accounts top rated... now what?
Some of you may remember I had my account fall 'below standard' last year.. and I brought of my old accounts back from the dead to continue to sell. Hard to believe it's already been a year... but now my old once inactive account has been built back up to Top Rated Plus.... and my restricted account is now back to Top Rated due to the 'cases closed without resolution' falling off!
What's the best way to continue on from here? Should I leave the now back to top rated account dormant... like I did for the previous account before... incase I have any trouble again? Or should I begin to sell on both and build them both up?
If I start to sell on both again... should I continue to use completely separate devices and IP... or would it show strength to have two Top Rated / Top Rated Plus accounts linked together?? From what I understand there may be some tax advantages to having two accounts.. so that would be a plus.
Thank you again for all the advice here... I went about things my own way, but using the resources here I was able to get back to where I was or better with minimal downtime. The two major differences are I bought a new smart phone for every account... and I started listing using Auctiva software to bypass eBay all together. I shipped and responded questions using the unique mobile devices... and listed using only Auctiva.

Re: Finally off of probation... both accounts top rated... now what?
Keep accounts separate. And USE them. What's the point of a dormant
account? You don't need to show strength. Also keep in mind, that top rated is going to be much harder to keep with the new rules AND top rated discount is only 10% now. So don't stress it too much.

Yeah I saw that. Going 'top rated plus' was what got me into the return mess I ended up with originally. Now that the bonus is only 10% I may go back to no returns. I do, however, have a 98% same day ship rate so I should be able to meet the 95% requirement... if its even worth it.
