Yes, a big reason I like it. Cheap, quick and easy. Sure it is very limited compared to a laptop, but I'm only using it for eBay PayPal and some browsing

I got a Dell i7 17' laptop for around $800, and it boots up in about 5 seconds too.

No reason to get a chromebook, it doesn't even run everything you might one day want.

I use the sh1t out of my Chromebook and I love it!!!

It's amazing for keeping score on accounts and internet sh1t. I use two laptops simultaneously. I have a Lenovo Think Pad with Nvida graphics card, SSD and a i7 that I run VMware on. I use the Lenovo for listing, and all the other stuff I do that a Chromebook couldn't even think of doing.

The Chromebook I use with all google products and online stuff. I have a google account for each one of my eb/pp accounts. I use gmail, google sheets, docs, voice, shipstation, pixler editor and do google searches on the Chromebook. You can interlink all the accounts by sharing files. Individual google accounts also helps to keep all my account information separated.

I don't know what cheap Chromebooks you've seen that are slow, mine is as fast as my windows machine if not faster in some ways. You have to get a mid-grade Chromebook not the real cheap ones. The only time mine lags is when I'm opening big spreed sheets but I think its more the internet connection than anything.

I differently would not want a Chromebook as my only machine though!!! What a nightmare that would be...

It's kind of a problem with printing on a Chromebook. I have a printer with google cloud print so i can only print off one google account on my Chromebook. It works out tho because I share all my shipping label files with my main google account that I can print off of. There is always a work around.

The reason I never used a Chrome Book (or other low end Windows 10 machines) is that they can't load drivers for the Dymo label writers... maybe people on here know a way around that, but that's what's been keeping me from going the Chromebook route.

I had tried chromebook a couple days ago.. Bad thing is IP burger doesn't have software that work with chromebook operating system.. So after I bought the VPN they had to send me a refund and I returned chromebook.

Very interesting point you raise.

This just emphasises the point I made earlier, your going to have to constantly overcome hurdles like these. Is it worth the time and headache? that's for the OP to decide.

it doesn't really matter. i use a cheaper Acer and i paid about $250. It works perfectly now but I plan on upgrading down the road. I'll probably just get another Acer with slightly more memory and speed.
