Default selling limit help zzz....

hey can guys tell me when i stop getting this selling limit? it says

In order to maintain a safe trading environment, selling limits are occasionally placed on accounts. At this time, you are not able to list this item.

We sincerely value you as a member of our trading community and look forward to a continued successful relationship.

this limit is really getting on my nerve. i got about 21 feedback on the account and i already got this limit like 4-5 times. i don't want to get suspended coz of this.

HI: Usually its for Name Branded items, i.e. Tonka Toys, Cartier Watch, Maxwell House Coffee, etc.. They give you so many per week, even on the Power seller accts, they do this..

Just take it slow. Don't list more than 1-2 per day or let all auctions end and then give it a week before you list again.

Can you tell me what brands do you sell? Because i always get this but its not a problem since this is from ebay and not Vero.

Example if your brand name is Tag heuer, spell it as tag watch heuer.

i use to get this on my new accounts, sell only 1-3 items and when your feedback is over 20-25, it seems to go away.

Has anybody tried to email Ebay Customer Support to have the limit lifted? In the email I got, it says you can do that. I'm just trying to see if this is a waste of time or not. And if I will actually get suspended if I write to them. Please advise.

Don't waste your time, just take it slow and do it right. You will just make your day worst by calling.

pinkie, Agree there. Have found that if you communicate with them by calling or email, you go on a roundabout. Never get answered or helped at all. Seen this happen time and time again with different sellers. Seems to be a case of the file getting well & truly lost because
ebay could care less.

Exclamation ebay's new search

I really don't think this method works anymore. I've been experimenting with miss spellings and mixing up the titles and for some reason, you need to write it exact now. For example 2 weeks ago, you could list an item with the title 'shox trainers' or 'air max shoes' and people searching under the key phrase 'nike shox' or 'nike air max' would pick up your listings (even though you didn't include the brand in the title).

As of last week, it seems that you MUST include the brand in the title in order for your listings to show... They're getting smart.

if anyone has a work-around solution, please PM me.

Thanks

List it as "airmax shoes" then the next day revise the listing to "Nike airmax shoes"

I wrote to them and basically yelled at them told them I would pull my listings to look at the tags I have pictured, why would I take pictures of the bar codes if they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗...bla bla bla. They lifted the restrictions

I have had many listing pulled for changing the BRAND names around, It is unsafe.. if you do this you will get a trade mark violation after 3 you get suspended. It is not advisable to try to get around it. play it safe. Ebay knows these tricks and looks for them very carefully, many people do exactly as you say, switching names, using abreviations eventually you will get caught.. Be Carefull!!

Ive never had an issue selling tons upon tons of af clothes. I was getting trash bags full of AF clothes from an employee and selling 20 items at a time. I never had any limits even as a beginning seller. Weird.
