All accounts have limits, and if you do not see limits in your myeBay guess what? you have limits just call eBay and they will tell you, FD let them figure it out on their own.

On an old account I saw no limits but on a general call to ebay it came up and there was a limit of 30k. I just never reached it to see it

When I called eBay on my main account (not stealth) I was told that I had no limits whatsoever. On all my stealth accounts I definitely have limits.

the only way to find out if your account is "unlimited" is to call ebay and ask them. You'll get your answer.

You can still make accounts with no selling limits on random. However, there are still category limits.

Yes randomly every so often you are blessed with a unlimited account, but even those have limits ( category limits etc.) you just have to hit that ceiling to find out, or as stated several times prior to call eBay. This thread should be closed already no point in going around the " merry go' Round"

2 months ago, I couldn't see what my selling limit was when I looked around in My eBay. I had to call and I was told that my selling limit was "unlimited". And then he said something like every 30 days they re-evaluate the account or something? I didn't quite understand that. I don't know what they base the evaluation on because I haven't even been selling on it much recently. Just sold 2 items totalling $190 within the past 2 weeks. Before that I hadn't sold anything for 4 or 5 months. I'm pretty sure my selling limit is still unlimited, as it still doesn't show anything in My eBay. Compare that to 2 other accounts of mine, I'm able to see the 10 items/$1,000 limit or whatever it is.

None of my accounts are stealth. I should probably set some up shouldn't I?

When you are able to verify the account information the accounts are in a totally different standing.

Better get on making some account, you never know when the game will change.

Real lucky, glad to get some real input instead of hear say.

It does happen, just so random

Hopefully it will stay unlimited for you.

I have to go with: these accounts do not exist.

Here's why:

Even when you're able to verify account information, sometimes they go down. 12 percent or so of people on this forum so they're ebay account was shut down for little or no reason. (I forget where the poll is, but it I remember the majority voted for vero)

The account limits are not in your control. It's that simple. It's up to other people, and it's just a mouse click to them. I've spent the last 4 years on this forum reading constantly over and over again that ebay shut someone down when everything was going perfectly. You guys think because there are no numbers on your selling section that the account has no limits? That's incredibly naive considering the website we're all a part of.

ebay does review accounts constantly. Today it may appear to have no selling limits, but in truth you just don't know what it is. That account is going to get shut down, and has a possibility of being shut down, and you darn well know it.

If you had an account that is truly unlimited, why go make more? You know it's not really unlimited, I know it's not really unlimited...

On top of all that, you have to contend with paypal, or whatever company you're using to accept paypal. Although you can get a tax ID, etc..... if it's all really stealth, you're max selling limit is about 1700 dollars a month in my opinion.

I would imagine they control it based on the amount of churn they're willing to accept during any month. Like when a bank is more willing to lend money one month, and less willing the next.

Truly 100% Unlimited accounts DO Exist, in BOTH Ebay and Amazon, they are Known as "ISO" accounts, short for Isolated, these are Contract accounts, Accounts that belong to Corporations like Acer, Tiger Direct, Best Buy, ect, ect. These accounts are Isolated from Accounts like Ours.

When these type companies open accounts do you think that someone who works for them Logs on to Ebay and Paypal and goes through same the Process that we go through?, No, The company sits down with Ebay and negotiates a Contract with Ebay, How Much they will Pay in Commision, How they will deal with Customers, Returns, Shipping, feedback ect, ect

Platinum accounts are eligible to become ISO Accounts, but I believe that they too have no Selling limits per say

Nothing Secret about it, I Know about it because I called Ebay and asked a few years back, they have a Minimim set of criterior that the company must meet to Qualify, if you have that Minimum, then they set you up with and "Account Specalist" and you negociate your contract, and off you go,

And like I said above I believe that Platinum Powerseller accounts have NO Velocity limits as well, MANY of these Platinum accounts have HUNDERDS of THOUSANDS of active Listings EVERY Minute of Every day, i cannot see them Having Selling Limits,,

I hadn't considered companies selling warehouses full of inventory...

My intention in this thread was to bring people back down to Earth when they get an account that doesn't have visible limits.
