MC999: what is it & what to do?

When you get this email what is the best course of action and what exactly does ebay want and what are they expecting?
Is there a good chance if I call they will let me keep the account? Or....
And what should I expect on the phone call?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this account is actually in a family members name so its legit information and its over a year old with no paypal holds so needless to say I WANT TO DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO KEEP THIS ACCOUNT. I appreciate the help

ebay send out this notice to get you to confirm you are you.

It's a safety step by them & a scare for us. Is it a problem? Not really provided you are confident enough to make the call.

Did your sales spike or any troubles from a buyer? (Both are reasons. There are more).

All you need to do is call and have ALL the info of the account at hand..... Name, DOB, secret answers....majority of times there is not another problem :peace:

My sales spiked cause they highered my limits and I took full advantage of it...which I probably shouldnt have. Plus I got one negative because I sent the wrong item, but it was to an overseas buyer who had 0 fb and was new sooooo
Anyway I am not gonna lie, I am extremely nervous to call. I am afraid of what they will ask.......grrrr lol

It's been a trend. Another user had the same drama.

Now, this is entirely your choice as to what you do.
You would consider calling them. Why? You have an ebay account that is going well. You are enjoying selling. (look at your increased limits). The account is doing what you want .
The only thing that is different is the fact it is stealth. That is not such an issue.
NOW: time for housework.
Ask yourself if you should change your settings regarding zero feedback buyers AND international buyers. These two factors damage (new) accounts. Think of that.
Make the call :thumb:
