Default Category Restriction

I have two linked accounts with different paypals. One of them got hit by mc999 category restriction today. Can i still sell on my other account? It's a fairly old account.

You can sell on it, but as the are linked you could get hit with a restriction at any time.

Fairly likely - nothing is 100% - best bet is to avoid.

I would close the user acct, then open a new one so there are no cookies that I can't see...
then take a look at the non restricted acct WITHOUT logging in. Do the same for the paypal. Close the user...
Wait an hour then log into the ebay/paypal that are still NOT restricted. Then never log into the restricted acct ever again.
Sometimes you get lucky where the second acct avoids the same fate.

Thanks for the response guys. @Hercules I will give that a try and see how it goes. I tend to logon to both of them pretty frequently from the same ip... but I 'll give it a shot. Then again, risking what people seem to call a "vintage" account here seems like a horrible idea...

Not even old accounts are immune to EBay banning those accounts, ALL accounts are subject to the same scrutinization. Best to keep all accounts separate.

Unfortunately, we can't close your account yet, because it has been suspended, restricted, or is otherwise not meeting minimum seller standards. Until you have resolved this matter, your account must remain open. If you would like to appeal your suspension or have an account reviewed by a member of our Trust & Safety team, please contact us.

No luck :(

You cant just simply close an account - dont know why this was suggested.

Stealth allows for moving on without bothering old accounts
