No the moment you turn it into a sellers account.

Is that the golden rule? I've read conflicting reports about that it's the moment where you sell your first item.

I thought the counter started off the date your first item actually sold.

I mean if you create an account will exist when it was intially created, but I thought the increase and age counter started after first item sold

The Account starts "Aging" the moment you turn into a Sellers Account, BUT when it comes to "Limit Raises" & "21 Day Hold Removals" then that starts after your 1st sale.

After first item goes for sale - the age counter begins.

First item sold starts helping the limit increase counter and holds on the account

The problem is my account became 0/0 when I start to list the first item. I am ask "Proof of identity request SR#1-507########". How can we start the listing without being limited?

I don't believe there is a single "moment" when an account begins to age. I think EBays algorithm is very complex and there's lots of criteria in involved. In other words, they could take both factors into account (I.e, time account was created and when it made first sale).

Ideally, though you should try to make your first sale as soon as possible.

I've had better luck NOT getting the mc999 restriction after listing the first item on a 2 year old account , with NO selling history than a new account. Although using the account is better than not using it at first, some may disagree but I'd prefer to have an old account with no history than a new account with no history.

Aged accounts help, but theres no need to wait 2 years. A couple weeks/months does the trick.

After your first successful sale is when things start going forward.
