When you say clean your computer, exactly what did you do as far as "cleaning" goes?

I do more than just eBay on my computer. I periodically run maintenance and clean adware and cookies. eBay does not like this and each time I do this, I get the same screen when I log into eBay after the cleaning.

If you delete Ebay/Paypal Cookies.....they don't like it! So when you delete them Ebay/PP gets nervous because you look like a new person accessing the account.....This is why I only use Portable Browsers, all cookies are stored in it's own folder.

You must have a problem with Canadian. There is a better way to express your frustration. Remember, you are not obliged to respond to a all threads.

I understand that very well. I have a better reason to do this particular account without any headache. All the T's are crossed and I's dotted.

There are accounts I don't touch there cookies.

When you clean the browser cookies, you pretty much look like a blank slate to eBay each time you log in.

Can you clean everything else on your PC except the browser cookies?

There is no harm on this particular computer. I have other accounts on another computer with all browser cookies untouched.

@GotEbay...if you clear cookies, you run the risk of having to be re-IDed by eB...e.g. call in or so

And Tony's first question in this thread still stands.

WTF are you even talking about? You are just making stupid statements with no point. We all already know about cookies and you just keep telling us how you love to clear them.

How long are you going to keep this pointless thread going? Get that post count up!

I've never done it this way, but you can use ccleaner and exclude certain cookies (such as ones from ebay) from being deleted
