Default Perhaps a web browser issue - tech help requested

So I am using IE 8 for eb.com.

Recently having trouble with Second Chance offers.

Every time I select quantity of available items (e.g. 3) then choose the bidders to receive the offer then click Continue, the page comes back with the red triangle with ! stating:

The following must be corrected before continuing: Please select a non-winning bidder.

I have tried tinkering with the Internet Options but anyone deal with this issue before? Solution?

If no solution...I am considering changing browsers (would require installation)

Maybe it's a glitch? How long has it been happening?

Think it's more than a glitch - I am sure it's related to my web broswer because I am having this problem across accounts.

I figure it's something in IE 8 settings...or perhaps the browser just needs to be replaced.

Well I personally cannot stand IE, I use Google Chrome.

Can you not just switch browser?

Well, just test on Chrome and see if it does anything different, then you know it's your browser.

If it's the same on other browsers, then maybe a glitch.

I know ebay.uk are having major technical issues atm, so maybe Canada is having a different technical issue too.

Using eb.com so not a Canada issue.

But it's just weird that all of a sudden I have this second chance offer problem across the browser.

Ebay.uk is working fine for me at the moment...just slow as usual due to dial-up ugh

And now you are repeating the same posts.

Maybe the wires are over-heated.

I've heard other people tell me they can't or tried to do a Second Chance offer and was not able to do it. Perhaps it's not a Browser glitch?
