How do I fix it? my acct was using the address, should I change it to another address, therefore my roommate can register his and get no trouble?

Both are legit.

There's alot that you have to read and understand regarding stealth. All the information must be separate for each account, this means everything.

Taking shortcuts leads to accounts getting shut down quickly.
