Default One to test your knowledge - Advice required please!

Hi all, I'm in a predicament and as a result a friend recommended I seek advice from you guys.

Basically I have a top rated power seller ebay business site with 2,000+ positive feedback. ebay have restricted me from listing further items on this site for 30 days for reasons not given.

The paypal site I had linked to the ebay account was limited permanently last week for the following reasons:

"When you signed up for your PayPal account, you agreed to our User Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy. We've had to permanently limit your account because some of your recent transactions violated this policy.
You'll be able to withdraw any money in your account 180 days after your last transaction. This is to ensure that we can cover any chargebacks that may be filed on previous transactions during this period. We'll email you when you can withdraw your money. "

In addition my wife has an ebay account (1,500+ positive feedback) which has just been received the following restrictions:

MC999 eBay Indefinite Selling Restriction

My wife's PayPal is still ok but for how long we have no idea.

With regards to the information provided above, my questions are as follows:

1/ Will ebay permanently limit my account once they link it to my wife's?

2/ Can I avoid them making the connection? And if so how?

3/ Is it likely that my wife's paypal account will be permanently limited as well?

4/ Can we avoid this happening? And if so how?

You guys come highly recommended so I'm hoping you can advise me on what to do.

All the best,

Zurcaled

Hi,
it seems you have quite a situation here.

Your paypal account seems to be toasted for good... gone forever. You will be able to get your money back, providing that you have a bank account attached to it, in 180 days.

Your eBay account that was linked to it is now useless. You will not be able to attach it to a new paypal.

Your wife's eBay account (linked to your for using the same PC or sharing the same address or whatever) is half gone and she is left with a Paypal account that cannot be used on another eBay account for the same reason above (paypal and ebay goes in pair...).

They are already linked... nothing you can do but call ebay or paypal and try to fight your accounts back... more experienced members can give you some directions and suggestions but it is very hard to succeed.

I do not know what you have done, or sold, to deserve this but stealth guide can be very helpful and stealth method works.

If you are selling VERO or high risk items this will happen again and again...

Buona fortuna.

The only thing you can do if you want to stay selling on Ebay long term is learn how to create stealth accounts.

Welcome to the forum

With regards to the information provided above, my questions are as follows:

1/ Will ebay permanently limit my account once they link it to my wife's?

As you can't sell on ebay UK without paypal then your account is toast even after thirty days for selling.
You need to know more about linking accounts to answer that one, as it depends on your set up.

2/ Can I avoid them making the connection? And if so how?

Nope not if it has already been done.

3/ Is it likely that my wife's paypal account will be permanently limited as well?

Due to the possibility of linking your wife's paypal is now only fit for off ebay use.

4/ Can we avoid this happening? And if so how?

Nope

Best advice has already been given for you to buy the Stealth Book, as you have so much to learn and that is the quickest way. Which then gets you back to making money and will get your wife off your back the next time she wants to buy or sell something as your account has also made hers useless.

Plus the Stealth Book will answer a lot of your questions that you have above in a more detailed way.

No chance. Already linked.

Usually this happens, yes.

What to do is, kick the cat, scream in the corner for a couple of hours. Then sit down and learn to make stealth accounts.

Learn the better way of never being linked to another account even if your wife is the loveliest person in your house.

Stealth is your way forward. Learn the methods.

Good Luck

Welcome to the forum. Read stealth guide, read the forum and make stealth accounts to continue funding stream. Most of us have gone through a similar situation and found Aspkin to be a valuable solution.

First ebay account and paypal = toast
Second ebay account + paypal = nearly toast.

HOWEVER, silver lining is you still have access to the second account.

Systematically withdraw as much money as possible. Do this sporadically and do not withdraw too much at one time!
