I'm not saying it a bad thing, far from it, but I have been getting some insane limit increases over the last few weeks.
One has gone from 100>150>300>600>1200 in a 6 week period. Other accounts have had similar success.
Are ebay on crack or what?

Look after the accounts.
Increases can take months and months, others can come in days.
Little logic to what eBay does.

Don't question it, just embrace it. Feel the love ebay is giving you.
But never forget with ebay, the right hand giveth, the left hand taketh.

Was this a personal or business account?
Also how was your selling activity like?

Yeah I thought as much logic wise! Ive had another go 100 > 190 > 300 > 570 in the same time. Embrace it absolutely, I just wondered what the hell is going on lol. Yet on the other hand I had a TRS account with 100% feedback at 800+ feedback and where do my limits get to on that? 400!!
Play, to answer they were both business accounts using standard good stealth practice where I took it very easy after 90+ days selling household goods. Built up from there but only listed to 50% of my limit capacity at all times.

Thats great! Keep it up.
Anyone here had their personal account(s) bumped up automatically? If so how long did it take?

Had personals go from 25 -> 80 / £2300 after listing 1 item with no feedback.

Has anyone had personal accounts exceed the 100 listings mark automatically?

Ok thanks.
Do you know any difference between Personal and Business other than having to accept returns?

If fees are less with business accounts, thus profits are greater, why stick to personal?

Because you then have to accept returns.
Besides, fees are not always less with business.
Another advantage of a business is being able to get TRS status.

Yes just spotted that fact, TRS is just for business.
But I mean the number of returns you end up with a negligible, well for me that is. I hardly get any, and if they ask, I offer a partial reimbursement and tell them keep it, if their adamant to return it, I would then say ok go ahead... but hardly ever happens.
Fees do vary depending on category, some categories business is better than personal and vice versa.

The general trend I have seen for personal accounts is 10 > 25 > 75 (sometimes) > 100
Usually can get to 100 in a fortnight.

Do the limits increase automatically? I have some new accounts in good standing and I'm not getting the increases. What should I do.

Other times you get accounts that double every few weeks. I think the good and bad even each other out

I sat on a top rated seller account for the best part of a year hitting my 400 limit and 100% with no increases. I call up to get an increase and was manually linked 2 weeks later following that call from previous lack of stealth knowledge.
These accounts were all automatic. One I have sold a total of approx 60 items and they have increased it to 400+ in 6 weeks aged 4 months. The other is aged longer but has only been active for the same time and got to 1200 in the same time.
As others have said, I have fully concluded that ebay is ran by wild monkeys who determine limit increases by throwing their own feces and semen at a wall of numbers and names.
