Default Planning to go International

What are the best countries when it comes to good reputation to ship to when selling on ebay? Which ones are to be avoided?

Depends what you are selling.

Russia can be great but you will also get cases opened against you.

I avoid most of Asia other than Hong Kong and Japan generally.

Most of the EU is fine.

Never found much of a market in South America so cannot comment. Not had issues with the very few items I have posted there though.

I would avoid it unless buyers are willing to pay for the high shipping chargest. I had a lot of issues with international buyers. But it depends on what you're selling as well.

38% of my business is international. Inexpensive items are hard because of high cost of shipping. High to medium dollar goods are fantastic. Bundled goods are wonderful as well.

Do not ship to South America, Italy, Africa, Russia. I have had most problems of non-received items in these countries and decided not to ship to them. NOT WORTH IT! Many disputes opened.

I shipped cheaper items with no tracking thru USPS using only the customs number which is scanned only inside USA. It works for the most part but is risky.
